The Titan 1000, is a versatile system for the management of the bariatric patient. The most unique fea ture is the adjustable width surface. In its narrowest configuration the Titan 1000 is only 36” wide which allows easy doorway access for room changes or emergency evacuation. Once inside the patient room the surface is easily changed to a 42” or 48” width. The surface can also be used in the 36” width as its 84” long mattress can accommodate tall patients. Quiet Linak actuators articulate the bed into numerous positions at the touch of a button. Central brake/steer, three position side rails, in-bed scales and battery back-up make the TITAN 1000 an ideal system for management of the bariatric patient. The TITAN-1000 is delivered with a high density foam mattress with low shear/friction cover. A true low-air loss mattress system is also available for patients needing true low air loss pressure relief therapy.
